About Me

For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for all things creative and have explored many art and crafting techniques over the years.

After studying textiles print design at Brighton University, I developed a strong interest in bold graphic image, repeat pattern and shape work. I am particularly interested in achieving graphic images by hand. For me the process is almost as important as the result.

Hand cut stencils are an integral part of my technique and I am intrigued & inspired by colour combinations; I love to discover new combos that make me smile! Obviously, I am inspired by the beautiful natural landscape, but love to zero in on details I see in plants & water. My main artistic inspirations include Japanese screen printing, natural patterns, and artists such a William Morris & Kerry Langlois.

I would love it if my art inspired others to get creative; I think the benefits of "the arts" in all their forms are immeasurable.
