About Me
For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for all things creative and I believe the benefits of practicing, admiring, watching or listening to 'the arts' in all their forms to be immeasurable! Creating brings me so much joy, and I am excited to share my art with you!
After studying textiles print design, I developed a strong interest in bold graphic image, pattern and shape work. Hand cut stencils are an integral part of my process and I am particularly interested in achieving graphic images by hand. Most of my digital designs initially come to life as hand cut paper works. I am inspired by colour combinations and love to discover new combos that make me smile.
The natural landscape is my biggest inspiration; vast scenes but also close up details of nature. I love to break a subject down and translate it in to simple shapes and forms. I am based in Yorkshire, but have spent a large part of my life living in Western Canada, which still holds a large piece of my heart and continues to inspire me.
As a working Mum, my time to be creative is such a privilege; a time to let my mind wander and see where it takes me. To give myself some direction, focus (and a challenge!) each week of 2026 I'll be releasing a new print, these will be limited editions and will be available to purchase via my website.
